Unfortunately, this is what we expected to hear.
Whitney Houston's preliminary autopsy results are in, and we're hearing that she had sedatives in her body at the time of her death.
To get specific, Whitney had benzodiazepines in her system, which is no surprise because we had previously heard that xanax, lorazepam, and valium were found in her room (and they are all benzodiazepines).
It will still take four to six weeks for Whitney's toxicology results to come in, but the cause of her death is becoming increasingly clear.
Hopefully once the definitive results are released, Whitney's family will be able to find some closure and begin the long, difficult healing process.
Our thoughts continue to be with them. We hope Bobbi Kristina is doing better today.
