Wow! This is pretty shocking, considering the recent comments Bradley Cooper made!
The actor was expected to play Lucifer in an epic, big budget adaptation of John Milton's Paradise Lost by Alex Proyas, and although there had been delays over budgets issues, he recently stated that production was starting back up again!
However, Legendary Pictures has reportedly pulled the plug on the project because the cost of the special effects to create the vision Proyas wanted could not be negotiated down to $120 million, and the film will be put on the backburner indefinitely - or at least until the effects they need are a little more cost-effective!
Sucks! It sounded kinda neat!
But at least they realized they couldn't do it justice, and didn't just produce some crappy film for the sake of getting it done!
