Production has been long delayed on George Miller's reboot/sequel of Mad Max, which will star Tom Hardy as the title character and Charlize Theron, but those wondering if the series' original star, Mel Gibson, would return in a cameo role have gotten their answer - straight from the actor himself!
He explains:
"Nope. I've got nothing to do with it. George, he's filming in Namibia or something. It would be fun to fly to Namibia and be a snake in the background or something. I think it's going to be great. George is a genius."
Well, he doesn't seem too broken up about leaving the franchise behind!
And we have to admit - between Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron, he's leaving it in more than capable hands!
This is definitely going to be worth checking out!
