Debbie Gibson got her plate full nowadays!
Friday marks the 25th anniversary of her explosive debut album and she's still in our hearts. Now, she'll try her luck and business saavy on Celebrity Apprentice.
Even though she's older, she still has the same values she had at 16. She's been a supporter of the fight against HIV/AIDS and children's welfare and she got her start through the gay community, which she holds dear.
When asked on her gravitational pull over the gay commmunity, she said the following:
I do know that for me, I performed in gay clubs at 16 to get my first single off the ground. I know musically and energetically as a performer, there was always a connection there. I just feel like the gay community embraced the music and didn't have preconceived notions about the fact that I was 16. People were always hung up on that.
We still love you, gurl!!!
But she also states that now that she's older, she feels that she's learned how to lead her life differentlys.
She says that she doesn't need the same values of love, marriage and other aspects that she once had.
We love how she feels comfortable in her own skin! We hope she continues to lead a happy life!
